Centrifuge Baskets

Multitech Centrifuge Baskets are manufactured with wedge wire profiles precisely spaced to meet custom process demands. When the basket spins at high RPMs inside a centrifuge housing, the feed mixture is thrown against the basket wall. Liquids pass through the slots, while solids are retained inside or discharged depending on process type (batch or continuous).

Use

Centrifuge Baskets are used for high-speed solid-liquid separation in centrifugal machines. These baskets enable the efficient filtration, dewatering, and classification of slurries or pulpy materials by using centrifugal force, particularly in:
- Sugar crystallization and molasses separation
- Paper pulp dewatering
- Mineral and ore slurry processing
- Resin, pigment, or chemical compound filtration
