Granulator

Material enters the heavy-duty steel box housing, where a centrally mounted rotor fitted with breaking rings spins at moderate speed. The rings impact the incoming material against a stationary breaker plate, initiating the size reduction process. Fines and properly sized particles fall through the screening chamber, while oversized particles are recirculated until crushed to the desired dimension.

Model

Multitech Granulator
  • Rotor Assembly: Precision-balanced rotor with dual-type breaking rings
  • Body Construction: Fabricated heavy-duty MS box frame
  • Breaker Plate: Fixed on robust frame body
  • Screening Unit: Integrated screening chamber for size-controlled output
  • Construction Material: High manganese steel for all wear parts (breaking rings, screen, plate)
  • Drive System: Rotor mounted with flywheel and V-pulley
  • Bearings: Heavy-duty spherical roller bearings for reliable, vibration-free rotation
  • Size Control: Adjustable breaker gap to vary output size

Use

Granulators are used in mineral processing and bulk solids handling to crush, break, and size reduce friable materials such as coal, coke, phosphate rock, and recovered cake solids. They are often installed post-drying or dewatering units for preparation of uniform particle sizes prior to conveying or further separation.

Description

The entire crushing chamber is lined with high manganese steel, extending wear life under abrasive operating conditions. Gap adjustment mechanisms allow fine-tuning of output granule size. The flywheel-balanced rotor ensures smooth, uninterrupted operation even under high load conditions.

Key Advantages

  • Longer wear life with high manganese steel components
  • Efficient and uniform size reduction with dual-action breaking rings
  • Integrated screening eliminates the need for secondary sizers
  • Low vibration operation with balanced flywheel drive
  • Easy maintenance with replaceable wear parts
  • Adjustable breaker gap for product customization
  • Rugged construction built for heavy industrial loads
