Fiber Wash Screens

In each stage, fiber is introduced into a tank, diluted, and pumped under pressure across specially sized screens. Each screen captures fibers while allowing starch-laden water to pass.

  • Stage 1: 50 micron (Mesh 270)
  • Stages 2–5: 75 micron (Mesh 200)
  • Stages 6–7: 150–200 micron

Use

These stages progressively rinse fibers to extract any remaining starch before fiber is dried or processed into feed.

Description

Progressive increase in slot size optimizes washing at every stage. Screens typically operate reliably for 12–24 months before replacement.
