Screw Compactors

Wastewater is fed into the compactor's inlet. A rotating screw conveys the material through the trough, where liquids are drained through the wedge bar screen. As the material advances, it is compressed, reducing its volume and moisture content. The dewatered and compacted screenings are then discharged into a container or bagging system. Optional washing systems can be integrated to reduce organic content and odours. Further, an optional control panel can control the rate of flow.
