This slurry is pumped into the Primary Hydro Cyclone, which separates coarse refuse (underflow) from clean coal (overflow). The refuse is recycled through a Secondary Hydro Cyclone, and further to a Tertiary Cyclone, producing Middlings and Rejects.
The overflow from the cyclones — containing clean coal — is passed through Stainless Steel Sieve Bends, which filter coal from water. Filtered water flows back to Pyramid Tanks and is recycled into the washery process, while excess slurry is sent to the Settling Pond. Clear water is then pumped back into the operating circuit.
Key Advantages
Zero-media washing – only water used, no magnetite or chemicals
Multi-stage cyclone design ensures superior coal classification
Minimal manpower required for operation
Extremely low maintenance with non-mechanical separation
Stainless steel sieve bends for efficient dewatering
Closed-loop water recycling reduces consumption and pollution
Cost-effective and eco-friendly solution for coking coal beneficiation
