Sieve Bends

Sieve Bends consist of a concave curved profile wire screen mounted in a frame, with the screen openings perpendicular to the flow. As slurry flows over the curved surface, the centrifugal force and gravity cause finer particles and water to pass through the screen slots, while larger particles are retained and directed to the discharge end. The non-clogging V-shaped wires ensure continuous operation with minimal maintenance

Use

Sieve Bends are utilized in oil and mineral processing plants for dewatering, classification, and solid-liquid separation. They are particularly effective in:
- Pre-screening of slurries in mineral processing
- Dewatering of fine particles in coal and iron ore processing
- Classification of particles in gold, platinum, and diamond recovery
- Removal of contaminants in sand and aggregate washing
